1948

The first production A-reactor was started up — OKBM is a designer of the reactor unloading mechanism.

The first industrial batch of enriched uranium was produced at the D-1 factory — OKBM is a designer of the main process equipment for diffusion machines.

1950

The first OK-110 production reactor was started up — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

1951

The first OK-180 heavy water reactor was started up — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

1955

The commercial production was commenced of the advanced OK-26 diffusion machine for uranium enrichment.

1955

The OK-190 heavy water production reactor was started up — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

1957

The reactor of the first nuclear submarine achieved its first criticality — OKBM developed the final design for the NSSS and land-based prototype test facility.

1958

The OK-120 uranium-graphite production reactor was started up — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

The first nuclear-powered icebreaker Lenin commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1967

The Generation 2 lead nuclear submarines commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1970

The advanced NSSS commenced operating on the nuclear-powered icebreaker Lenin — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

1972

BN-350, the world’s first pilot industrial fast neutron reactor, achieved its first criticality.

1975

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1977

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Sibir commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1980

The reactors achieved their first criticality on the nuclear-powered cruiser Kirov — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1980

The Generation 3 lead nuclear-powered submarine was commissioned — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS. The BN-600 reactor achieved its first criticality at the Beloyark NPP.

1985

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Rossiya commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1987

The advanced L-2 heavy water reactor achieved its first criticality — OKBM is a chief designer of the reactor.

1988

The nuclear-powered lighter aboard ship Sevmorput commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1989

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Sovetskiy Soyuz commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1990

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Vaygach commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1992

The nuclear-powered icebreaker Yamal commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1996

The testbed prototype NSSS with an integral reactor was commissioned — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1998

The nuclear-powered cruiser Pyotr Velikiy commenced operations — OKBM is a chief designer of the NSSS.

1998

Operation of the TVSA fuel assembly started in the VVER-1000 reactor at the Kalinin NPP — OKBM is a designer of the TVSA fuel assembly.

2001

The first batch of submerged pumps was manufactured and delivered to the Tianwan NPP construction site in China.

2002

The activities were in progress to enhance the safety and to extend the service life of the АDE-2, 4, 5 production uranium-graphite reactors.

2003

The blanket components for the OK-187 M electronuclear neutron generator were manufactured and delivered to the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP).

2003

The icebreaker Arktika commenced navigation after the operation life of its NSSS had been extended.

2004

The manufacturing and acceptance testing of the equipment were completed for the China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR).

2005

Manufacturing of the first NSSS was completed for Generation 4 nuclear-powered submarines.

2006

The construction of the BN-800 reactor re-commenced at the Beloyarsk NPP.

2006

The construction commenced of the floating power unit with the KLT-40S reactor plants — OKBM is a chief designer and a complete supplier of the reactor plants.

2007

The nuclear-powered icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy was commissioned.

2009

The first package of the TVSA-T fuel assemblies was delivered to the Temelin NPP in the Czech Republic.

2011

The China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) was commissioned.

2015

The BN-800 reactor was commissioned at the Beloyarsk NPP.

2016

The complete delivery of the RITM-200 reactor plant equipment was done for the nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika.

2017

The operation life was extended for the reactor plant of the icebreaker Vaygach.

2018

The KLT-40S reactors achieved their first criticality and generated electricity for the first time on the FNCP Akademik Lomonosov.

 2019  First cryogenic pumps are developed for transporting liquefied natural gas
 2020  FNCP Akademik Lomonosov is put into commercial operation
 2020  The Borey-A-class lead ship Knyaz Vladimir transferred to the Navy
 2020  The multipurpose nuclear icebreaker Arktika with the RITM-200 reactor plant commenced its operations
